Vegan Lip Balms
We do not normally advertise our lip balms as vegan freindly as many people consider beeswax to be a non-vegan ingredient due its having been produced by bees. As a beekeeper myself I can state with authorithy that beeswax is a natural by-product of being a responsible beekeeper. Due to the pressures faced by bees it is now considered best practise to change their combs regularly and as such I feel strongly that this is a benfit to the hive rather than a detriment. That said if you disagree I completely respect your opinion and would advise against purchasing our lip balms.
All other elements of our lip balm manufacturing and packaging however are completely compatible with a vegan lifestyle and include the followinf provisions:
No animal-derived ingredients: Our lip balms are formulated without any ingredients derived such as carmine (a red dye derived from insects), and other animal-based oils or fats.
Natural plant oils: Our lip balms rely only on natural almond oil as a basis for the balm.
Cruelty-free production: Our lip balms are produced without any testing on animals. They are not tested on animals at any stage of the manufacturing process, from ingredient sourcing to final product testing.
